**Some of what you will do**
The role will be responsible for the ongoing development of a new initiatives within Staples Co-working and Store Events. We are looking for a driven individual who is creative and willing to work cross functionally with internal and external stakeholders to bring new initiatives to life. You will be part of a team managing and supporting national Co-Working (Studio) and Spotlight locations, while exploring emerging trends in global markets.
**Specifically, You Will**
- Support development of systems, processes, pricing, and channel strategies to maximize sales and improve turns for co-working and store events
- Support the execution of regular sales line reviews ensuring that plans are tracking to target
- Be engaged in Marketing conversations for ongoing support, launches, and seasonal promotion periods to provide strategic direction, adjust pricing where needed, forecast the impact of promotions and changes, and perform post-campaign analyses to iterate for future events
- Collaborate with Marketing, Digital, Store Merchandising and other teams to optimize the positioning of our Studio and Spotlight services to drive maximum exposure and revenue
- Work closely with the Business Intelligence & Insights teams to use data to power decision making for launches, improve existing programs and size upcoming opportunities
- Perform regular competitive analysis to determine key differentiators, and opportunities to match / beat the competition
- Develop skills in supporting any initiative or project, outline the reason for change, financial opportunity, customer and employee benefit, timing urgency, and level of effort
- Support the development of competitive analysis and prepare business cases as needed
- Support cross-functional projects with Vendors, IT, Finance, Sales Audit, Legal, Enablement, Retail Operations and Field Operations teams
**Some of what you need**
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in Business, Retail Management or Project Management is preferred
- 5 to 7 years of work experience in a customer-centric or sales field (Retail, Service, or Hospitality preferred) with focus on both product and service sectors
- Experience working in multiple functions is preferred (e.g. Category, Program / Project management, Retail / Services operations)
- Project Management experience preferred
- Co-working or shared-space experience an asset
- Bilingual language skills an asset
- Comfort gathering and using qualitative / quantitative data to make recommendations
- Comfortable working under pressure & ability to prioritize for maximum impact
- Openness to change in a dynamic environment
**Additional information**
- Remote enviroment
- Role will require occasional onsite travel to store or office locations
- Being bilingual is an asset-Communication may be required with Staples head office associates or customers who reside outside of Quebec
