**Position Details**

Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking Journeyperson & Apprentice Carpenter's for work at our Calgary Compost project.
- Schedule: Monday - Friday
- Location: Calgary, AB
- Benefits and RRSP Provided As Per Collective Agreement

**What You Will Be Working On**
- Insulating walls off lift
- Assist with formwork for concrete and other construction elements
- Fabricate and install handrails for safety and structural support
- Build temporary walls and barriers for site protection
- Install dry pack base plates to ensure structural integrity
- Perform selective demolition of various building components as needed
- Build parapets on roof structures for aesthetic and safety purposes
- Install backing materials inside walls for mounting fixtures and finishes
- Build specialized hoarding to protect brickwork and other exterior structures

**What We Are Looking For**
- Valid Journeyperson/Apprentice certificate in the trade of Carpentry
- CSTS 2020
- WHMIS 2015
- Fall Protection
- MEWP
- Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work
- The ability to lift, carry and handle weight up to 50lbs
- Experience in building renovations including access doors and hardware, cabinetry installation, demolition, and construction of steel stud and drywall interior walls
- Must have **at least** 2 years of commercial experience
- Must be organized, self-driven, and have ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
