Server - Restaurant and Banquet Server

Guelph, Canada Springfield Golf & Country Club Full time

Golf course in the south end of Guelph is seeking servers to join our clubhouse's front of house team for the upcoming season. Hours per week will fluctuate and will include evenings and weekends.

Servers work in our restaurant and/or banquets. Duties include but are not limited to:

- Serving large banquet-style meals collaboratively with a team of servers
- Setting up and cleaning up of banquet rooms
- Providing table service to customers in the restaurant alongside fellow servers
- Bartending including mixing drinks, making cocktails, pouring draft, checking IDs, tracking consumption, etc.
- Operating our POS computer system and handling cash transactions
- Answering phones & accurately taking food orders & reservations
- Keeping service areas and clubhouse clean, organized & stocked

Qualifications:

- Ontario Smart Serve Certified
- Open availability including afternoons, evenings, weekends & holidays
- Ability to work quickly as well as collaboratively with others
- Ability to do physical work - stand for long periods of time & perform moderately heavy lifting/carrying (moving tables & chairs, carrying large trays of dishes, moving beer cases & kegs etc)
- Restaurant and/or banquet experience is a huge asset

**Salary**: $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 30 per week
