Reporting to, and working under the direction of the Manager of Occupational Health, the Abilities Case Management Advisor (ACMA) develops, implements and administers the Ability Management Program of the Occupational Health and Safety Department. This program is to manage and monitor employee illness and injuries and this role plays a key function in our ESRTW (Early and Safety Return to Work) process.

Regular Full-Time

Rate of Pay: $35.25 per hour - $44.06 per hour

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week

Remote - Predominate

**Qualifications**:

- Successful completion of a Bachelor?s Degree in an Allied Health related, Human Resources, Health or Social Science field
- Minimum of 2 years recent, related experience required
- Diploma or Certification in Rehabilitation Case Management (RRPA or CCRC) preferred
- Certification of employee benefits program (CEBs) preferred
- Proficient Knowledge and understanding of the Ontario Health & Safety Act, WSIB Act, Employment Standards Act, Public Hospitals Act (communicable disease surveillance protocols) and Human Rights Legislation
- Proficient knowledge of Principles of Disability Management and Return to work
- Proficient in MS Office software (Word & Excel)
- Proficiency in computer programs; for example, Parklane for injury management, return to work plan
- Proficient experience working in a unionized environment-preferably in health care
- Advanced experience with early and safe return to work programs, Functional versus medical models for Occupational and non-Occupational. Developing individual plans, documentation, and maintain records for WSIB
- Proficient experience with Parklane for injury management, return to work plan (design and writing)
- Demonstrated attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC?s vision, purpose and values
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
