**About Us**:
Market 49 Fine Foods is a dynamic and rapidly growing frozen foods company, specializing in high-quality flash-frozen oven-ready meals. We are committed to delivering fresh and delicious options to our customers. As we expand our reach, we are seeking motivated and results-driven Sales Representatives to join our team and represent our brand at farmers markets, trade shows, and local pop-up markets.

**Responsibilities**:
**Market Presence**:

- Establish and maintain a strong presence at local farmers markets, trade shows, and pop-up markets.
- Set up and manage the Market 49 Fine Foods booth, ensuring it is visually appealing and attracts customers.

**Sales and Customer Engagement**:

- Actively engage with customers to promote and sell our high-quality flash-frozen oven-ready meals.
- Provide product knowledge and answer inquiries about ingredients, sourcing, and benefits.
- Meet and exceed sales targets through effective communication and relationship-building.

**Relationship Building**:

- Develop and maintain positive relationships with farmers market organizers, trade show coordinators, and customers. This includes providing good customer service to our customers.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and strategies for events.

**Outdoor Shifts**:

- During the summer, most shifts will take place outside.
- Must be willing to work in all types of weather conditions.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Must be able to occasionally lift items when setting up and taking down the booth.

**Qualifications**:

- Fluency in English is required.
- Previous experience in sales, preferably in a food service or related industry, is not required but considered an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Knowledge and passion for quality frozen food products.
- Availability to work Thursday to Sunday, mornings, or early evening shifts.
- Availability for both full-time and part-time positions.
- Possession of a driver's license and access to a car is not required but considered an asset.
- Following food safe guidelines is required (training provided).
- Food Safe Level 1 is an asset but not required.
- Must be willing to travel as our markets happen all over the Lowermainland

**Compensation**:

- Competitive hourly rate with performance bonuses.
- Performance reviews conducted every six months.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
- Weekends only

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Shift:

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Morning shift

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Serving It Right (preferred)
- Driving Licence (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 50% (preferred)
