As a Veterinary Receptionist / Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and their beloved pets. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for both clients and their furry friends.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Greet clients and their pets with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar
- Check-in patients, update client information, and verify insurance coverage
- Collect payments for services rendered and provide accurate receipts
- Assist with maintaining patient records
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area, with light housekeeping duties.
- Ensure a positive experience for both clients and patients within our hospital

**Required Skills**:

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
- Proficient in using computer systems for scheduling appointments, managing records, and processing payments
- Animal handling experience

**This position requires working**:

- 4 x 10 hour shifts
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week

**Experience**:

- Veterinary: 1 year (preferred)
- Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
