**RECEPTIONIST - CASUAL EMPLOYMENT**

An opportunity is now available for a Casual Receptionist to work as a member of The Haldimand Family Health Team (HFHT), serving approximately 26,000 patients in Caledonia, Hagersville and Dunnville areas. This casual position would cover vacation and sick leave for the Caledonia, Hagersville and Dunnville sites, accounting for approximately 15 or more weeks of coverage throughout the year. This position will require working at all three sites and a reliable vehicle is required.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Medical Reception/Administration course or reception experience preferred
- Excellent written, verbal and electronic communication skills essential
- Friendly, calm and confident demeanor an asset
- Customer service experience a must.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask is essential.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities an asset
- Ability to maintain accurate, concise and confidential documentation
- Able to work in a team environment.
- Proficy in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred
- Experience with OSCAR electronic medical records would be an asset.
- Must have own vehicle and a valid Ontario driver’s license

**DESCRIPTION**

The Receptionist within the HFHT is part of a team which enables the organization to meet its goals in the provision of equally-accessible, high-quality, client-centered care to all clients who require it, recognizing and responding to cultural and ethnic differences and to the special needs of individuals by: Providing clerical, reception and support to the organization; assisting in the quality of care through the management of accurate records; ensuring the accurate recording and retrieval of electronic data and assisting with the communication of information. This is achieved through working collaboratively with a broad range of interprofessional health care professionals and HFHT physicians.

**Salary Range**: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on relevant experience
