**Seeking Support Worker to work with young males aged 16-26.**

**Job description**
- Will assist in planning daily activities and the delivery of the program.
- Make posts every half hour to update the safety of the resident.
- Assist the client in:
- Seeking part time employment.
- Obtaining all their identifications
- Menu planning and how to prepare meals.
- Booking their own medical appointments such as medical, optical, dental, etc.
- Support and teach the resident daily living skills such as household management, financial management, accessing resources in the community.
- Ensures that all residents’ basic needs, and other needs are met besides food, clothing and shelter.
- Safely transports resident in own vehicle.
- Maintains confidentiality of each resident and family.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Diploma in Child and Family Services such as: Social Work, Early Childhood, Community Support Worker, CYCAA Certification or enrolled/attending school in the Child and Family Services area.
- Demonstrates good writing and communication skills.
- Ability to travel.
- Own a smartphone (iPhone, Samsung)

The position requires to be available throughout the week when staff need extra supports and to have a second staff on site.
**Job Type**: Casual
Pay: $21.00 per hour
