Lessard Callingwood Veterinary Hospital Ltd. is looking to add an energetic and enthusiastic Veterinary Medical Assistant/Receptionist to join our great team of experienced veterinarians, RVT’s, VMA’s and CSR’s. As part of our client and patient care team you will work well with others to ensure professional and compassionate service is consistently delivered. Our hospital provides a great supportive atmosphere with regular team meetings, ongoing CE and mentorship.

We are an AAHA-accredited small animal hospital located in west Edmonton with very easy access from the Whitemud Freeway and Anthony Henday Drive. Our practice utilizes Cornerstone software, is equipped with IDEXX in-house laboratory, digital radiology, ultrasound, surgery room and a dedicated dental surgery suite. We offer a competitive compensation package including group benefits (medical, dental and disability), continuing education and scrub/shoe allowances.

Job duties include but not limited to:

- Interacting with clients and patients, check in patient appointments, billing and invoicing clients, review treatment plans.
- Administrative tasks (filing, faxing, preparing medical files, etc.)
- Maintaining a clean work environment (cleaning reception area, exam rooms, vacuuming, mopping)
- Adhere to hospital’s safety and wellness regulations.

**Experience**:

- Veterinary Assistant: 1 year (preferred)
