WSP has a new opportunity for a Junior Geotechnical Field Assistant on a 4 or 8-month Co-Op basis within the London, Ontario operation. This opportunity will allow you to develop your technical skills in the field with like-minded professionals in a leading global professional consulting firm.

**A day in the life**:

- Providing technical services in a field, laboratory and office environment;
- Providing technical assistance in materials related projects and tasks, including carrying out field and laboratory testing of various materials on construction sites, in situ density testing and testing of concrete and asphalt materials;
- Performing construction site reconnaissance, inspections and observations;
- Performing laboratory testing on construction materials ;
- Participating in a team environment;
- Preparing project letters summarizing the results of field and laboratory testing;
- Demonstrating a “Safety-First” focus and acting as a role model to other staff;
- Maintaining a high standard of behaviour to uphold WSP’s reputation and demonstrating a commitment to our Core Values; and,
- Working with and providing support to other members of the group in assisting with other field and office activities as required.
