**Position Summary**

As the Front Desk Clerk, you know how to use professional computer programs, have excellent phone call and note taking etiquette, and document and record incident logs. As the Dining Room server, you love providing our residents with the best service and take special care to be aware of residents’ special dietary requirements and allergies. As the Housekeeper, keeping the common areas safe, clean, and sanitary is second nature to you and you’re amazing at being thorough and deep cleaning for the health and safety of our residents.

The Housekeeper and Dining Room Server are compensated at $21.91 per hour and the Front Desk Clerk is $22.32 per hour with a $1.00 per hour premium for working the 12:00 am - 8:00 am shift.

**Required Knowledge and Skills**
- Experience in and with Indigenous communities would be an asset
- Strong time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to display tact, respect, and diplomacy
- Ability to take direction and follow procedures
- Knowledge to respond effectively and calmly in crisis situations
- Capable of being socially sensitive to Indigenous issues and concerns
- Good conflict resolution skills and the ability to demonstrate patience and tolerance
- Knowledge of an Assisted Living environment would be an asset
- Ability to work independently, yet contribute and co-operate in a team environment

**Qualifications**
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Courses or training in customer service, office systems and procedures
- 1-2 years of experience working in a high-volume dining room, office environment, or housekeeping preferably in a congregate/assisted living setting
- Occupational Level 1 first aid certificate
- Food Safe 1
- WHMIS
- Criminal Record Check
- Be vaccinated against Covid-19 before start date
