**About SewerVUE**

**The Opportunity**:
We are seeking a Technician to join our team. This role is varied and dynamic. As a technician, your primary role will be to support our customers in completing successful multi-sensor inspection projects.

Primary responsibilities include:

- Maintain, document and order spare parts for our robotic data collection platforms
- Work with freight forwarders and customs brokers to ship these systems globally.
- Coordinate with engineering and support the maintenance of data flows back to SewerVUE servers.
- Organize and summarize LiDAR, Sonar, Radar and video inspection results.
- Various other administrative tasks as required.

- Ability to get things done
- Technical skills and knowledge in electronics / mechatronics / computers / networking / software
- Native English fluency.
- Previous sewer inspection experience is an asset.
- **Education & Experience**_
- Diploma or degree in a relevant field (Electronics or Mechatronics)
- Experience, professional or hobbyist, designing and building electrical-mechanical systems will be given priority over education
- Experience with robotics and/or remote sensing is an asset

- Familiarity and skills working with electronics / mechatronics
- Computer Aided Design Skills
- Skills with programming languages such as Python, C++, JavaScript, etc
- Friendly personality; professional approach

- Excellent communication skills (English, written & verbal)
- Strong writing skills; ability to write technical reports
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid Canadian passport is essential; Unrestricted ability to travel to the US and abroad
- Familiarity with Ground Penetrating Radar, GPR signal processing, and other relevant technologies is an asset.
