**Position**: Fire Alarm Technician

**Responsibilities**:

- Install, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems according to manufacturer specifications and local building codes
- Perform routine inspections and testing of fire alarm systems to ensure proper functionality
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with fire alarm systems and implement effective solutions
- Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure project deadlines are met and customer satisfaction is achieved

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Fire Alarm Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with _Mircom, Siemens, Edwards, and JCI_ fire alarm systems
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations related to fire alarm systems
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Pay: $42.00-$47.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Coquitlam, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Fire Alarm Technician/similar role: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Canadian Work Permit or Valid Canadian Residency (required)
- Driver's license & Clean abstract (preferred)
- 1000 ITA hours Registered with Skilled Trades BC (required)
