HearingLife is the largest local provider of hearing healthcare services in Canada. Our core philosophy is to "do what is best for the client" while increasing awareness of the effects of hearing loss and the benefits of hearing devices. Working in unison with our National Campaign for Better Hearing awareness program, HearingLife Canada is seeking full-time Appointment Specialists to round out our expanding team. - The training and development period for this role will be conducted on-site. Once fully able to work autonomously, you can opt to transition to an offsite role. **Role as an Appointment Specialist**: - To serve the client via outbound calls by promoting our Campaign for Better Hearing campaign and the value of annual hearing tests. - Promote the products and services offered by HearingLife Canada - most notably complimentary hearing assessments/tests. - Schedule Outbound appointments via warm campaigns as well as cold calling. - Knowledge of our website(s), promotions, and offerings. **Job Functions**: - Ability to work both within HearingLife's National Appointment Centre and remotely where the Appointment Specialists must possess the communication skills required to perform their duties. - Conduct outbound calls to prospective clients intended to promote complimentary hearing tests. - Knowledgeable of, or acquire basic knowledge in the area of hearing aids, company policies and offerings, and promotions. **Qualifications**: - Minimum 1 year in a customer service role. - Previous experience in a contact centre environment. - Proficient in general office productivity software. - Hearing clinic experience an asset, but not required. **Positions Available**: Permanent Full Time **Hours**: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (8 hr shifts), no evenings or weekends **Location**: On-site training (3-4 weeks) at 4950 Yonge Street, North York Remote option available after successful training period with proven ability to work autonomously **Salary**: $32,500 annually, plus bonus pay and benefits **Perks**: Public transit costs will be covered during on-site training period
