Event Coordinator

**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including logistics, venue selection, catering, and entertainment.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for each event.
- Manage budgets effectively while ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure the best rates and services.
- Upsell additional services or products to enhance the client’s event experience.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the planning process and during events.
- Coordinate with hotel staff and other service providers to ensure seamless execution.
- Monitor event timelines and manage on-site logistics to ensure everything runs according to plan.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and improve future events.
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in event planning or coordination within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines effectively.
- Exceptional negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with vendors.
- Demonstrated ability in budgeting and financial management related to event planning.
- Strong customer service orientation with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of current market trends in event planning and hospitality is a plus.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.20-$35.68 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
