**Position Overview**

The Inventory Clerk’s main purpose is to assist in maintaining current inventory levels to meet retail customers needs while maintaining Cloré’s brand image.

The Inventory Clerk’s main duty is to maintain a set standard of exceptional display of products in a functional yet welcoming store environment, with a focus on product visibility and availability.

**Responsibilities**

**Inventory Operations**
- Assist in inventory through accurately stocking inventory, checking orders, and proper merchandising
- Assist in managing and maintaining an optimal level of inventory in comparing with sales
- Maintain a clean, organized work area according to procedures and safety policies
- Tour the sales floors regularly for missing or low stock inventory to re-stock
- Assist in organizing and preparing for special promotions, displays and events (eg. Seasonal sales and in store promotions)
- Assist in properly alarming products for stocking
- Work with the Store Manager, to identify and suggest opportunities for improvement in procedures and/or operations

**Staff Relations**
- Work closely and communicate frequently with coworkers to accomplish tasks assigned
- Report health and safety, legal and security issues to Inventory Supervisor or Store Manager

**Customer Management**
- Maintain the Cloré’s standard of customer service and professionalism
- Oversee customer relations through identifying customers’ needs and reporting to Retail Store Manager
- Communicate details of inventory movement with coworkers and customers as required

**Must haves**
- Minimum 1 year experience with MS excel
- Full time availability (35-40 hrs / week)
- Strong operations experience in receiving stock, inventory and front-end management
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
