**What You Will Do With Us**
As the **Inventory Control Clerk** based in **Edmonton**, you will be responsible for monitoring the inventory levels for the branch.
**How You Will Thrive With Us**
- Conduct cycle counts to ensure quantitative accuracy on the fastest moving items in the warehouse.
- Schedule cycle counts at branches to maintain integrity of the counts and ensure customer service.
- Investigate variances in the count depending on level of inconsistency and priority items.
- Attach an inventory value for non-stock, defective, or non-listed material on the system. Identifies large value variances and investigates discrepancies.
- Review status list of defective stock with the Buyers. Coordinate and determine obsolete, non-returnable goods for junking, write-offs or write-downs.
- Provide Replenishment Buyers with reports on new and existing items to evaluate selling performance.
- Lists all discontinued items and attaches codes to effectively ensure all locations are aware of deleted merchandise.
- Creates reports to inform of strict deadlines on returning stock.
- Other duties as required.
**Who Are You**
- You have excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- You have good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work well under pressure while maintaining a good attitude.
- You are proficient in the use of Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook.
- You have experience with the AS-400 computerized system.
