**What you will be doing**:

- Oversee and manage a high volume of personal injury and medical malpractice files.
- Manage all aspects of litigation for Tort claims, including document production, pleadings, and discoveries.
- Draft pleadings, affidavits, examination summaries, and other essential court documents.
- Serve as the primary liaison with clients, insurers, medical professionals, and other stakeholders.
- Assist with trial preparation, including preparing briefs, exhibits, and coordinating with expert witnesses.
- Track and manage critical deadlines for filing and service requirements.
- Conduct legal and medical research to assist with case strategies.

**What you will bring to the position**:

- Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience gained as a Law Clerk in Medical Malpractice and/or Personal Injury litigation.
- Experience with Tort and AB matters is required.
- Completion of post-secondary Legal Assistant or Law Clerk program.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, etc.), Zoom, Kofax PDF, and legal software such as iManage and Soluno.
- Experience with hyperlinking, bookmarking, and navigating through CaseLines.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $75,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
