Enrollment Officer

**Overview**
The Enrollment Officer oversees the administrative and logístical aspects of the student enrollment process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for prospective students. This role ensures that all necessary documentation, records, and communications are completed accurately and promptly, providing critical support to the admissions and academic teams. This position will also serve as a backup admissions advisor if no other admissions advisor is available.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
STUDENT ENROLLMENT COORDINATION:
- Keep potential enrolled students engaged until they begin their program.
- Collect enrollment deposits by payment due dates.
- Conduct initial phone calls and schedule follow-up interviews with admissions advisors.
- Provide student support through the Student Aid process.
- Assist admissions advisors with student nurturing as needed.
- Review the financial viability of the student applicant.
- Transition students from admissions to student services
STUDENT RECORD MANAGEMENT:
- Assist in collecting and sending out student contracts and set up tuition payment plans.
- Assist in processing incoming tuition payments and send reminders for outstanding payments.
- Coordinate communications with applicants regarding missing documents, deadlines, and next steps.
- Ensure CRM and SIS records meet PTIRU compliance standards through regular audits and accurate data alignment.
- Ensure student data is accurate and aligned in CRM and SIS to meet PTIRU compliance requirements.
BACKUP ADMISSIONS ADVISOR:
If an admissions advisor becomes unavailable for an unforeseen reason the enrollment officer will:
- Provide clear and thoughtful answers to student questions about tuition, curriculum, and other key aspects of the programs to help them make informed decisions.
- Represent the institution at open houses, information sessions, webinars, college fairs, high school visits, and other recruitment events.
- Participate in training sessions to deepen product knowledge.
**SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS**:
- **Organization and Attention to Detail**: Keeping track of multiple students at different stages of the admissions process requires solid organizational skills.
- **Strong Communication Skills**: You’ll be answering questions, giving guidance, and following up with students, so clear, friendly, and professional communication is key.
- **Customer Service Mindset**:You’ll often be the first impression of the school for prospective students, so a welcoming, solution-oriented approach is essential.
- **Team-Oriented Approach**: Admissions work is collaborative, and you’ll be working closely with other members of the team to achieve shared goals.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Experience in post-secondary education is preferred but not required.
- A sense of humour and the ability to laugh a couple of times per day
Pay: $52,000.00-$58,000.00 per year
Additional pay:
- Commission pay
