**The Role**:
The Land Development Coordinator is responsible supporting the day to day development tasks as well as driving the development process. The Coordinator is responsible for project budgeting, project scheduling, approvals and construction progress tracking, consultant management, subdivision plan design and analysis, and report preparation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Analysis of subdivision plans and proformas
- Liaise with consultants, key stakeholders throughout the project life cycle in order to achieve overall project goals and targets including technical standards and performance, schedule
- Progress tracking of subdivision approvals and construction
- Prepare monthly project status reports and ensure they are updated in a timely manner
- Liaise and coordinate with homebuilding team (sales & marketing, architecture, construction) to ensure that the project development is on schedule and within budget
- Creation of figures and drawings in AutoCAD
- Filing documentation and ensuring databases are being kept up to date
- Collaborate and work effectively with municipal staff to help the Development lead manage the approval process, project tendering, obtain building permits, and approval for different project sites
- Take initiative to follow-up on outstanding deliverables to ensure requests and other tasks are managed within established timelines
- Perform any other duties as required

**You will bring**:

- University Degree in Engineering or Planning or College Diploma related to Construction Engineering Technician, Civil Engineering Technology, or similar field
- 2 - 5 years of experience in a similar role within a development or construction environment
- Analytical and detail-oriented with a keen focus on producing accurate and high caliber work
- Excellent communication and analytical problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and excels both in a team and independently
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong proficiency working in Microsoft Word, AutoCAD, Excel, and SharePoint programs
- The ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- A willingness to support the team as required and work in a collaborative manner
- The ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
