**Student Field Coordinator (Co-op) - May to August**

Caivan Communities is an Ottawa-based land development and home building company, actively developing over 45 low, medium, and high-rise projects across Ottawa and the Greater Toronto Area. We are looking for an ambitious and energetic **Student Field Coordinator** to join our dynamic and fast-paced team for the summer co-op term.

As a **Student Field Coordinator**, you will play an active role in supporting construction tasks and ensuring the smooth completion of our communities. You’ll gain valuable hands-on experience in project budgeting, scheduling, approvals, consultant management, and construction progress tracking.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in coordinating community completion tasks such as curbs, sidewalks, grading, sod, driveway paving, street trees, and paving.
- Attend and participate in site construction coordination meetings.
- Track and assist with budgeting and cost management for construction activities.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of projects.
- Assist in preparing preconstruction mobilization packages for trades.
- Update community completion maps as trades complete their tasks.

**SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE**:

- Currently enrolled in a College program related to **Construction Engineering Technician, Civil Engineering Technology, or a similar field**.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in **Microsoft Word, AutoCAD, Excel, and SharePoint**.
- A **G License** and access to a personal vehicle.
- A collaborative and adaptable attitude to support the team as needed.
