As the Land Development Coordinator, you will assist in planning and delivering high quality community development projects.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist with project plans, designs, development analysis, and market research.
- Assist with project management across various stages of development, from acquisition to registration and assumption.
- Provide project support both in-field and in-office for various communities.
- Coordinate and liaise with external consultants and internal teams.
- Assist overseeing construction progress, identify field related damage problems, and liaise with appropriate personnel to achieve resolutions.
- Attend meetings, assist with presentations, and coordinate the execution of action items.
- Create and maintain project proformas on development opportunities and acquisitions.
- Assist with budget and schedule management.
- Other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Post secondary diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or Land Use Planning or related field.
- 1+ years’ experience in a planning and development role preferred.
- Experience working on projects and managing consultants and contractors (land development preferred).
- Familiarity with City of Ottawa and surrounding regions planning and development policies and approval processes.
- Professional & effective communication skills (verbal & written) in English.
- Time management, prioritization, multitasking, and strong organizational skills.
- Effective critical thinking, problem solving and conflict management skills.
- Professionalism, tact, courtesy, and diplomacy skills.
- Excellent file and document management skills.
- Advanced computer skills - MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, One Note, Outlook), Acrobat Adobe, electronic devices, scheduling & drafting software.
- AutoCAD skills related to subdivision planning will be considered an asset.

**Work Conditions**
- Office environment, finger dexterity, and may be sitting for long periods of time.
- Construction site visits and off-site meetings at various locations.
