**Nature of Work**:The incumbent works in close collaboration with students, faculty and staff across the university to support students with disabilities and utilizes his/her experience and knowledge of the rights and responsibilities of individuals with disabilities in Ontario under the Ontario Human Rights Code and the potential impact of disabilities on post-secondary participation and success.

**Responsibilities/Accountabilities**:

- Key holders to the Test Centre which means opening or closing the Test Centre, and ensuring that the Test Centre doors are locked when the Test Centre is closed
- Assist with opening/setting up and closing/cleaning up of testing rooms and ensure all hallways and emergency exits are cleared of personal belongings
- Enforce Test Centre protocol - secure exam files, complete appropriate paperwork during each shift, maintain Test Centre security, and uphold a high level of confidentiality
- Check students in and verify ID's, ensure academic integrity is maintained throughout all exam activities, and monitor university students while they are writing examinations and tests
- Confirm attendance of students, distribute examination materials to each seat before students are permitted to enter the room, ensure that only authorized items for use during the examination are at a student's desk
- Refer to the standard cover page sheet accompanying the exams for special seating instructions, make sure students accommodated time are calculated correctly and make sure students receive all their listed accommodations, and report any anomalies immediately to the Test Centre coordinator
- Responsible for troubleshooting technical and exam related issues after regular business hours and serve as back-up to the Test Centre Invigilators
- Contact the Test Centre coordinator or manager immediately if troubleshooting efforts does not resolve incidents after business hours
- Be aware of exam anomalies, responsible for the completion and submission of incident reports according to the university, Test Centre, and Student Accessibility Services procedures and policies
- File completed exams with precision according to Test Centre protocols, directing students and academic staff to the Test Centre, and assisting with exam pick-ups, completing after hours exam pick-ups
- Answer student queries while remaining non-partisan and professional
- Other duties as assigned

- Ability to travel to and work out of two locations

**Required Education**:

- Completion of post-secondary school program (college diploma or university degree)
- A combination of Education and experience may be considered for this role
- Verification of Academic credentials may be required

**Required Experience**:

- Minimum 1 year of experience working in an accommodated Test Centre (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience (preferred)
