Freight Sales Representative

We are seeking ambitious and self-driven **Freight Sales/Business Development Professionals** based in Canada to join our team. This role is focused on generating new sales and building a robust book of business while maintaining strong relationships with your clientele. Our dedicated operations team will handle carrier-related tasks and logistics coordination, allowing you to concentrate on business development and client management.
**Responsibilities**
- Proactively identify and secure new freight sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and lead generation.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with shippers and clients in the Canadian market.
- Develop and grow your own book of business, driving revenue through new client acquisition.
- Negotiate competitive rates and contracts with clients to secure profitable deals.
- Leverage our in-house technology platform to provide clients with seamless, efficient solutions.
- Collaborate with our operations team to ensure client needs are met, while focusing exclusively on sales and relationship management.
**Qualifications**
- **Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.**:
- Proven experience in freight sales, business development, or a similar sales-focused role in logistics.
- Established network of shippers or clients in Canada.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently to build a book of business.
- Comfortable using technology platforms; experience with CRM or logistics software is a plus.
- Knowledge of Canadian freight industry trends and client needs.
