**How You’ll Fit In**

Are you a plant-loving guru with a green thumb to prove it? Salisbury Greenhouse is on the hunt for a Production Associate to join our team of horticultural experts Reporting to the Head Grower, you'll be a key member of the production team responsible for planting and nurturing our greenhouse products throughout their growing journeys. You'll work alongside our team of experts to ensure that every plant thrives under our care.

You'll be the plant whisperer, monitoring their health and fighting off pesky weeds, insects, and diseases. From preparing the soil to planting bulbs, seeds, and cuttings, you'll get to participate in every step in the plant life cycle.

But wait, there's more, as your skills and talents don't just stop there. You'll be a master at inventory management, keeping the orders flowing and recorded with ease. As a cleanliness champion, you'll ensure your work areas are always spotless. Plus, you'll lend a helping hand to other departments, keeping our production top-notch and running like a well-oiled machine.

With your keen eye and attention to detail, you'll help us maintain our high-quality production and keep our plants looking picture-perfect

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Prepare soil and assist with planting bulbs, seeds and cuttings
- Monitor plants for healthy growth and potential weed, insect, disease, and fertilizer problems in greenhouse crops
- Assist with watering for all plants
- Assist with maintenance and cleaning of all plants
- May spray trees, shrubs, flowers and plants to prevent disease and pests
- Maintain inventory and order materials as required
- Clean working areas
- Assist other departments in maintaining and enhancing better performance for the company to ensure high-quality production
- May build houseplant arrangements for the retail floor
- Other duties as required

**Qualifications**
- Background in horticultural considered an asset
- In-depth plant knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
