The Bell Attendant greets, assists, and welcomes all guests, offers luggage handling, and provides information to guests about the facilities and services of the Hotel and surrounding area. The Bellperson contributes to the success of the hotel by performing the following duties:
- Greets all guests passing through the lobby and assists proactively.
- Delivers luggage to room upon check-in, picks up luggage from room upon departure, moves luggage from and to a storage room.
- Maintains proper records of deliveries and pick-ups.
- Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodates special requests whenever possible; assists guests in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.
- Performs errands for guests and the hotel that may require local travel off of the hotel property.
- Provides a high level of cleanliness in the lobby and luggage storage areas.
- Completes shift checklist and passes on important information
- Reports any damages on guest vehicles
**Qualification**:
- Must have a passion for delivering outstanding service
- Must be organized and detail-oriented
- Must be able to stand for an entire shift
- Ability to maintain the position for extended amounts of time in order to greet guests, offer assistance, and open doors in the lobby area
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week
**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour
