**NORTH VANCOUVER, BC - **As a Bellperson/Valet, you will represent the hotel to the guest throughout all stages of the guest’s stay. Responsibilities include welcoming guests to the establishment and determining their needs, parking and retrieving their vehicles, providing luggage assistance, delivering and retrieving guest items, assisting with recommendations and reservations for local amenities and attractions, and ensuring the guests have a pleasant stay and smooth arrival and departure.

**Job Duties Include**:

- Be an ambassador of the Seaside Hotel and Executive Hotel & Resorts brands
- Registers, parks and retrieves guests' vehicles
- Manages the hotel's reserved valet parking stalls
- Provides guests with luggage assistance and room orientations
- Promote the property in interactions and possess a sound knowledge of attractions, nightlife, and special services of the surrounding area to enhance the stay of our guests
- Must possess fluent knowledge of the city and geography, keeping abreast of arts & entertainment and local trends, building relationships with local restaurants & tourist attractions
- Know daily activities and meetings taking place in the hotel.
- Addressing and resolving guest concerns in a timely manner escalating issues to the Manager on Duty when you are unable to do so
- Reports any unusual occurrences or requests to Management and Supervisors
- Maintain a good working relationship and communication amongst all colleagues and departments
- Maintains customers’ privacy and security at all times.
- Maintains a high level of professional appearance and demeanor.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Class 5 Driver's License
- Ability to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Previous experience in a Concierge role within a luxury property is a distinct advantage.
- Previous valet and/or bell services experience preferred
- Ability to communicate with public, hotel staff, and management in a professional manner.
- Knowledge of surrounding areas and local events.
- Ability to understand and adhere to proper credit, debit, check, and cash handling policies and procedures.
- Able to properly secure guest information

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: Up to $22.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- North Vancouver, BC V7L 0E1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- hotel or hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
