**Film Production Tutorial Assistant**

InFocus Film School is a growing and dynamic creative hub located in Vancouver, BC. We have seven diploma programs, with our biggest being the Film Production Program. We are looking for a highly technical Film Production Tutorial Assistant to join our team.

**Job Duties**:

- Assist with camera classes
- Assist with sound classes
- Assist with editing classes
- Assist with gear prep
- Assist with content creation
- Assist with operations and gear sign out
- Trouble shoot editing and sound issues with students

Qualifications:
Ability to work independently; ability to work well under pressure; ability to multi-task; ability to work well under deadlines; ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Must be a highly technical person who can solve issues for students

Good humoured

Must be able to lift 25 pounds at time and perform repeated lifting of food items up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Past experience as a tutorial assistant is an advantage

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: $20.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Vancouver, BC V6B 3J5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- video editing: 2 years (required)
