Job Title: Creative Marketing Intern

Location: Oshawa, ON

Duration: 3-6 Months (Part-time)

Job Summary:
MOD INC. is creating a new way for music artists to sell merchandise and engage with their fans. Our marketplace allows music artists to easily upload designs and sell a variety of merch at no costs. Their fans can also licence fan art directly to music artists to sell on merch, something not available anywhere else in the world We are growing our community of music artists, creators, and fans locally and online. We also host events for our community like open mics, artists showcases, studio recording jams, and more We are a growing company with a very inclusive and open work culture. This is an exciting opportunity for a marketing enthusiast with an interest in the music industry to gain practical experience and build their skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement creative marketing ideas and initiatives
- Contribute to the development of social media strategy and manage social media accounts, including scheduling and posting content
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Assist with market research and analysis to inform marketing strategy
- Support the marketing team with administrative tasks as needed

**Requirements**:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in social media platforms and content creation tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Enthusiasm for marketing and the music industry and a desire to learn and grow in the field

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
- Experience with project management tools (e.g. Trello, Asana)

This is a part-time un-paid internship position, with the opportunity for growth and advancement within the company (compensation in equity and executive/director positions available). The internship will last for 3-6 months and will be hybrid work, remote and based out of our head office in Oshawa and event spaces in Toronto/GTA. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a startup team that will be making huge waves in the music industry.

Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: $1.00 per hour
