**Job Overview**
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be the face of our coffee shop, responsible for creating exceptional beverages and providing outstanding customer service. You will work in a fast-paced environment where your time management skills and attention to detail will be essential. **Responsibilities**
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently, handling transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs promptly.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
- Assist with food handling and preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Stay knowledgeable about menu items, including seasonal offerings and promotions.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in the food service or coffee industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Time management skills to efficiently manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing accurate change.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but can be learned on the job.
- A passion for coffee and willingness to learn about different brewing methods and beverage preparation techniques is essential.

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
