Campbell River, Canada Campbell River Marine Terminal Full time

**Job Summary**
Campbell River Marine Terminal has been doing business in its current location since 1997 and has been a strategic base as a full-service marine terminal for domestic and commercial freight. With all tide access to five bulk heads, ample area for storage and available moorage for commercial vessels, the Terminal has long been a hub for marine carriers. In 2019 the Terminal expanded its business and now is also home to a full-service Boatyard doing repair and maintenance on vessels up to 150 tons.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement companies strategic plans
- Identify, negotiate and implement new programs and services
- Develop annual budgets with consideration for sustainability, profitability, and long-term growth
- Ensure compliance with approved budgets, monitor financial performance (revenue and expenses) for both Boatyard and Shipping & Receiving
- Develop, implement and monitor day-to-day operational processes
- Plan, monitor and analyze key metrics for day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
- Adhere to company policies and standards and ensure that all laws and regulations are being followed
- Effectively communicate operational issues and provide recommendations
- Create and maintain partnerships (strategic and ongoing)
- Customer engagement and contract negotiations and proposal writing

**Education and Experience**
- Post secondary education (Diploma or Degree) related to Business Management
- Minimum of 5 years experience working in a senior executive position
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Industrial Marine experience an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
