**Your Role: Head of Finance**
As the **Head of Finance**, you’ll bring expertise, energy, and leadership to our Toronto management team. This is more than a job - it’s your chance to oversee Petro-Techna’s financial health, collaborate with key decision-makers, and drive innovation in financial strategy.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:

- **Drive Financial Strategy**: Develop and present financial models, manage treasury functions, prepare forecasts, and collaborate with senior management to monitor key business metrics.
- **Lead the Finance Team**: Mentor, manage, and inspire your team while fostering collaboration across departments.
- **Oversee Budgeting & Reporting**: Establish budget guidelines, prepare the annual budget, and deliver timely, accurate financial reports aligned with GAAP.
- **Master Project Accounting**: Track financial performance for each project, ensuring compliance with contracts and funding agreements.
- **Engage with Key Stakeholders**: Build relationships with Export Development Canada, banking partners, the CRA, foreign tax offices, and external accountants.
- **Prepare Strategic Insights**: Deliver ad-hoc analyses and create financial insights that drive informed business decisions.

**What You Bring to the Table**:

- CPA designation (or equivalent experience in finance leadership).
- You have been a star, waiting for your opportunity to lead a business.
- 7+ years in senior accounting, as a Manager, or related roles.
- Expertise in project accounting and export financing is a major asset.
- A collaborative, detail-oriented mindset with a knack for clear communication.
