**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Litigation Support**:
- Draft, prepare, and file legal documents, including pleadings, affidavits, motions, and enforcement documents.
- Manage litigation files from start to finish, ensuring timely completion of tasks under tight deadlines.
- Handle document production, organize case materials, and prepare briefs for hearings and trials.
- **Mortgage Enforcement**:
- Prepare and manage documents related to power of sale proceedings, foreclosure actions, and debt recovery.
- Ensure compliance with court rules and timelines specific to mortgage enforcement matters.
- **Landlord & Tenant Disputes**:
- Assist in case preparation, attend hearings with lawyers when required, and manage case deadlines efficiently.
- **File & Deadline Management**:
- Maintain organized and up-to-date litigation files, both electronic and hard copy.
- Monitor court deadlines and manage schedules to ensure no critical dates are missed.
- **Client & Lawyer Support**:
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff.
- Support lawyers with case strategy, legal research, and trial preparation as needed.
**Skills & Qualifications**:
- **Experience**: 3-5 years of litigation law clerk experience, with a strong focus on mortgage enforcement and landlord-tenant disputes.
- **Efficiency & Precision**: Proven ability to handle high-pressure situations, tight deadlines, and quick turnarounds with accuracy.
- **Organizational Excellence**: Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
- **Attention to Detail**: Meticulous in reviewing legal documents and ensuring compliance with court rules.
- **Technical Proficiency**: Strong knowledge of **PCLaw, Unity,** and **Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)** for case management, document preparation, and administrative tasks.
- **Loyal & Dedicated**: A strong work ethic with a commitment to supporting the team and contributing to the firm’s success.
- **Communication Skills**: Professional demeanor with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
