The Community Engagement Coordinator position at Toba Centre is responsible for administering and organizing a variety of projects and initiatives, primarily tied to enhancing the profile of Toba Centre in the community. This includes coordination and delivery of fundraising activities, community engagement, stewardship, and business development.

The Project Coordinator engages in tasks and activities that support and facilitate a multidisciplinary team approach in the response to child abuse. They are a member of a collaborative team of professionals that works to reduce trauma and provide healing for child/youth victims and non-offending family members.

**The Qualifications**

This position requires completed post-secondary education in a related program such as marketing, communications, public relations, business administration from an accredited academic institution and 2 to 3 years of related work experience, preferably in a charitable organization. Past fundraising experience is essential.
- Strong interpersonal and effective oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of special events planning and management.
- Excellent time management, organizational and administrative skills.
- Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Internet and abilities to use other computer programs and utilities.
- Resourceful and detail oriented.
- High degree of initiative and innovative ability.
- Professional presentation and decorum.
- Ability to work in a team and diverse workplace.
- Willingness to work collaboratively and assist with all aspects of operating a registered charity organization.

**A Prior Contact Check, Child Abuse Registry and Adult Abuse Registry Check, Criminal and Vulnerable Sector Record Check, and Winnipeg Police Enhanced Security Checks are a requirement of all Toba Centre positions.**
