**Your other tasks will be to**:

- Work closely with the department manager to stock and produce meat in a manner that optimizes product quality
- Manage loss prevention
- Supervise the work of the department’s team
- Perform or supervise the cutting of meat and other products
- Stay informed about new products and trends
- Manage loss prevention and product quality while maintaining the right level of inventory
- Establish health, hygiene and safety standards
- Make sure the equipment, displays and work area are properly maintained

**Necessary qualifications and skills**:

- Hold a Secondary 5 diploma or the equivalent
- Have 1 or 2 years’ experience in management and in butchery (important assets)
- Good knowledge and fluency in French in oral and written
- Be well organized Initiative and autonomy
- Polite and courteous
- Availability and flexibility
