**Position Summary**: The Inbound Logistics Coordinator/ Inventory Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of inbound shipments and materials to our warehouses. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate the receipt of all inbound shipments of raw materials and transfers into our warehouses, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Schedule rail car and tanker deliveries
- Investigate late deliveries and inform all affected parties.
- Manage all documentation related to inbound shipments, including invoices, packing slips, and customs paperwork.
- Update internal systems and databases with accurate information regarding inbound shipments and inventory levels.
- Communicate effectively with carriers to schedule delivery appointments and ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Reconcile inbound shipments with purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain detailed records of inbound shipments, including shipment histories and document files.
- Monitor supplier compliance with pre-notice of shipments, on-time delivery, proper packaging, and labeling requirements.
- Collaborate with suppliers to address overage, shortage, and damage issues, and file freight claims when necessary.
- Provide regular updates to management on inbound freight metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Coordinate the transfer of raw materials between warehouses as needed to support production schedules.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or GED required, bachelor's degree in logistics or a related field preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SAP or similar inventory management software is a plus.
- Strong record-keeping skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Outlook for data analysis and communication.
- Ability to multitask, adapt to rapid changes, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with mínimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
