We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Freight Coordinator to join our logistics team. This role is essential in managing freight operations, ensuring seamless transportation processes, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and carriers. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where efficiency and customer satisfaction are paramount.

**Duties**
- Establish and maintain a high level of customer service with current clientele and carrier partners
- Negotiate freight rates with carrier partners, seek out new carrier providers to service current clientele
- Update records for carriers and customers in UFOS, light clerical duties as assigned
- Tracking and tracing of shipments when required, provide accurate information to customers and other team members
- Answer incoming telephone calls with good phone etiquette, transfer calls to appropriate parties
- Able to complete after hours tracking on a rotating schedule once a month
- Wage will be commensurate with experience

**Skills**
- Excellent customer/carrier relationship capabilities
- Knowledge of freight logistics, supply chain management or 3PL operations
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Outlook/Excel/Word), Adobe
- Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, carriers, and internal teams
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
