Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified person to fill the key role of Shipping, Receiving and Logistics Coordinator in a Health Canada licensed facility. The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating and managing all inbound and outbound shipments of cannabis and non-cannabis packaging materials, dispensing of packaging components, and tracking and updating inventory of packaging components in real time.

Key Accountabilities
- Coordinate and manage all inbound and outbound shipments of cannabis.
- Coordinate and manage all inbound and outbound shipments of packaging materials.
- Responsible for warehouse inventory maintenance and reconciliation on a daily and weekly basis.
- Track inbound shipments against expected delivery dates and times.
- Produce packing slips for all cannabis outbound shipments.
- Obtain quotes from carriers.
- Ensure all shipping documentation is filled out correctly and filed appropriately.
- Constantly analyze and forecast inventory levels based on business criteria and provide feedback to management.
- Manage, conduct, document, and report on inventory audits by customers or other stakeholders.
- Identify and communicate opportunities for inventory control procedure improvements to Management.
- Review Inventory Variance Reports and work with stakeholders to identify and resolve issues.
- Ensure appropriate documentation/backup is in place to validate the accuracy of the company’s inventory.
- Assist Quality Assurance team on investigations as required.
- Receive non-cannabis products - check and sign delivery slips and assist with unloading as necessary.
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, records shortages and rejects damaged goods.
- Organize shipping of cannabis products. Make necessary verifications against appropriate documentation.
- Maintain internal record-keeping systems.
- Other duties or special projects as assigned by Packaging Supervisor, Manager, or Director of Production Operations.
- Coordinate with QA the labelling of all packaging components, including labelling components that are ON HOLD and RELEASED.
- Ensure that only released packaging components are dispensed for packaging.

**Qualifications**:

- College degree in supply chain management, business or related field or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years of experience in Shipping and Receiving in a regulated environment.
- 1 + years of experience as Logistics or Inventory Analyst or similar role.
- 1 + years of experience in a supervisory role.
- Raymond Reach/Narrow Isle forklift experience with valid license.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Experienced with Microsoft Office and ERP software.
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel to develop, maintain and analyze spreadsheets.
- Strong analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong with mathematics and multi-tasking skills.
- Qualified to work legally in Canada.

**Good to have**:

- Health Canada Security Clearance

Preferred Experience
- GMP manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience in shipping and receiving.
- Prior experience in packaging of cannabis or pharmaceuticals products.

Hours of Work
- Typical work hours, some weekend work when required (hours may change based on operational needs). Balance is vital but so is getting the job done. You thrive on getting things done and recognize that while we always aim for it, the work week isn’t always 9-5.
