**Duties**
- Process accounts payable invoices
- Review invoices for completeness and consistency
- Prepare bank deposits.
- Reconcile accounts payable ledger to ensure that accounts are accounted for properly.
- Process payments in a timely manner and follow up with clients to ensure payments were received.
- Monitoring daily communications and answering any queries.
- Ensuring payments, amounts and records are correct.
- Working with journals.
- Recording and filing cash transactions.
- Controlling credit and chasing debt.
- Invoice processing and filing.
- Processing expense requests for the supervisor to approve.
- Bank reconciliation.
- Liaising with third party providers, clients, and suppliers.

**Experience/Qualification/Education**:

- Minimum 3 years experience in an accounting role.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and relevant financial data.
- Proven ability to use office equipment (e.g., photocopier/scanner) and computer software.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Problem-solving skills along with an ability to prioritize tasks are required by the position.
- accounting diploma is a minimum.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 11 months

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week

- Monday to Friday
