Position: Accounting Clerk/Bookkeeper
Duration: Permanent
Location: Mississauga, ON
**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**:
- AP/AR planning and follow up
- Monthly bank reconciliation
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statement
- Post journal entries
- HST Return and filings
- Invoicing, billing and deposit cheques and process credit card, EFT/Wire payments
- Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
- Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
- Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
- Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
- Report analysis and findings to management team
Qualifications:
- Background in accounting or accounting related fields
- Previous experience as bookkeeper or accounting clerk with full cycle accounting experience
- Fluent in oral and written English.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting to meet critical deadlines
- Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experienced working with Quickbooks or other accounting software and or ERP system.
- Experienced user in Microsoft Office programs including outlook, excel and ppt. Company Description Import and distribution of building materials

**Salary**: $18.00-$19.50 per hour

- 8 hour shift
