Job Title:
Seasonal Brewpub Manager
Main Purpose of the Job:
To oversee front-of-house (FOH) operations and assist supervising the back-of-house (BOH), ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, and a positive team-oriented work environment.

- FOH staff (servers, bartenders, hosts)
- BOH Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
Front-of-House (FOH) Management:
- Oversee daily FOH operations to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Hire, train, and schedule FOH staff, ensuring a well-prepared and motivated team.
- Serving or bartending with a full section on a regular basis.
- Monitor and maintain FOH inventory, including beverages and merchandise.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
- Address guest concerns and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
Collaboration with BOH Manager & Kitchen Operations:
- Collaborate with the BOH Manager to ensure smooth communication between kitchen and FOH teams.
- Support menu planning by providing guest feedback and sales insights.
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and timely service.
- Monitor kitchen performance, staffing, and workflow.
Administrative & Financial Responsibilities:
- Manage daily cash handling, POS system, and financial reporting.
- Track sales, labor costs, and expenses to meet financial targets.
- Develop and implement revenue-maximizing strategies.
- Work with the General Manager on budgeting and cost control.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Foster a positive and professional work environment.
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations.
- Organize team meetings to align staff with company goals and expectations.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in restaurant, brewpub, or hospitality management preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of craft beer, food service, and hospitality best practices.
- Experience with scheduling, inventory management, and financial reporting.
- Smart Serve certification required; additional food safety certifications are an asset.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced hospitality environment requiring flexibility and adaptability.
- Work may include long hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Exposure to high noise levels, busy kitchen environments, and occasional outdoor duties.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs (e.g., kegs, boxes of supplies).
- Frequent bending, reaching, and moving between FOH and BOH areas.
Psychological Demands:
- Ability to make quick decisions in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong leadership and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a positive attitude.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 5 months
Pay: $17.20-$25.00 per hour
