**Position Details**
- International Student Services (ISS) is responsible for providing opportunities and support services that strengthen and enhance international students’ learning at uLethbridge. Reporting to the Manager, International Student Services, the International Student Conversion Specialist (ISCS) plays a crucial role in supporting the enrolment and conversion of prospective international students at the University of Lethbridge
- International Student Services works collaboratively with internal and external partners to offer services and advocacy. This position will work collaboratively within the International Office and with other departments across the University (e.g., Admissions).
**Key Responsibilities**:
**iCent App Management**: In collaboration with Manager, International Student Services, manage the iCent app. Tasks include adding new students to the platform, updating information for new and continuing students, scheduling push notifications, tracking of study permits and study permit approvals for new students.
**Conversion Data Analysis**: The ISCS will analyze conversion data and student feedback to identify barriers and bottlenecks in the conversion process and propose strategies for improvement. This requires them to analyze and track conversions and identify trends to optimize conversion tactics. Provide regular updates to the Manager, International Student Services.
**Process optimization**:With the support of the Manager, International Student Services, they will work closely with the international recruitment team to streamline the enrolment process for international students, ensuring a seamless experience for students.
**Conversion Efficiencies and Automatization**:The ISCS will explore CRM options with the aim to reduce the manual work required to convert students and improve tracking of our conversion efforts.

- Assists the Manager, international student services with other tasks as needed to support current and incoming students.
- Liaise and collaborate with Academic departments, Admission, and Student services units to streamline processes related to international student admissions, enrolment, and retention.
- Participate in certain department-wide or campus-wide responsibilities including special events (NSO and Services Fair), special projects, committees, working groups, etc.
**Position Qualifications**
- Applicants must have an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline and at least two years of related work experience, ideally working in positions related to international student support in a post-secondary institution.
- Previous experience should demonstrate excellent written and oral communication, organization and time-management, attention to detail and computer skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel, and student information systems (BANNER preferred).
- Demonstrated attention to detail, strong organizational and analytical skills, and effective time management.
- Familiarity with the international student experience and needs.
- Demonstrated intercultural competence: an ability to work knowledgeably, effectively, and appropriately with people from a variety of cultural contexts different than one’s own.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams and to develop effective working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and community members.
- Ability to manage the complexity inherent within a multi-faceted work environment focused on broad outcomes for students.
- Knowledge of Canadian immigration legislation, policies and regulations specifically related to international students, and their dependents. RISIA/RCIC license is considered an asset.
- Overseas work/study experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of additional language(s) preferred.
**Starting Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)**
- $4,772.00 - $5,403.00 monthly
**Full Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)**
- $4,772.00 - $6,034.00 monthly (AUPE - Grade 11)
