The incumbent advocates for the importance of a holistic student experience: where both inside and outside the classroom experiences shape student
learning. The position also participates in the after-hours Manager On-Call rotation.
As a member of the Residence Life Services Team, the Residence Case Manager contributes to the development and implementation of new student support programs and educational initiatives, working collaboratively with campus partners to promote initiatives that increase mental health support for students living in residence. ? Must demonstrate experience with supervision, leadership, team management and conflict management skills.
? Must possess administrative office experience with the ability to multi-task with a demanding workload and to work creatively and independently employing good organizational skills
? Expected to show a strong presence to the students and staff and to be visible at the various events, and in the dining hall and residence buildings. This is in order to foster connection with students in the residence community
? Must be able to work effectively independently, as well as part of a team in the response and resolution to issues within the residence community
? Must be able to exercise good judgment in setting priorities and balancing deadlines
? Must possess high energy and the proven ability to motivate others
? Upon selection, the new hire will be required to obtain a Police and Criminal Records Check, including vulnerable sector, as a pre-condition of employment
**Education and Experience**:
**The above is normally acquired through**:
