**The Role**:
We are seeking a **Quality Control & Assurance Inspector** to join our team. This role focuses on proactive quality oversight during the construction process — identifying issues early, maintaining consistent building standards, and supporting our teams with clear feedback and documentation. This position reports to the **Manager of the Customer Care Department** and plays a critical role in preventing deficiencies before possession and warranty service stages.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform detailed inspections at key construction milestones (framing, insulation, drywall, finishing, etc.).
- Identify workmanship or material issues early and track them through to resolution.
- Document deficiencies and corrective actions with clear written and photographic records.
- Work collaboratively with site supervisors and trades to ensure adherence to Verity’s quality expectations.
- Help implement and refine internal QA procedures and checklists.
- Provide feedback to construction teams on recurring issues and improvement opportunities.
- Support Customer Care by reducing post-possession deficiencies through proactive inspection.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong knowledge of residential construction practices and BC Building Code.
- Previous experience in site supervision, inspections, or quality control in a residential setting.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently across multiple active job sites.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
