We are now looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control / Inventory Manager to join our growing team. Tasks and Responsibilities
As our Quality Control / Inventory Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring our products meet strict quality standards and that our materials are efficiently managed. You will work closely with our fabrication and production teams to track inventory, oversee inspections, and maintain smooth operations from slab arrival to finished installation. Your work will help ensure our customers receive the premium craftsmanship they expect from Rock Solid Countertops.
Your responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the quality control process for all countertop fabrication and installation.
- Managing full slab and cut-off tracking to ensure accurate material usage and waste reduction.
- Conducting inspections throughout the fabrication process to maintain quality and consistency.
- Coordinating with suppliers and production teams to manage material inventory and reorder as needed.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records in ERP or tracking systems.
Required Skills and Knowledge
In this role, you will use both technical and organizational skills to ensure every job is completed to the highest standard. You'll need strong attention to detail and the ability to lead by example. The right candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and enjoy collaborating across departments to find solutions.
Key skills and qualifications include:
- Proven experience in quality control and inventory management within a manufacturing or fabrication setting.
- Knowledge of countertop materials such as quartz, granite, and solid surface.
- Proficiency in full slab and cut-off tracking systems.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Experience with ERP systems and digital inventory management.
- Commitment to workplace safety and process improvement.
