Marketing Manager

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Manager will leverage their strong digital marketing expertise and exceptional project management skills to lead marketing initiatives across our divisions, including recruitment marketing, brand awareness, and targeted marketing strategies for our retirement homes and emerging business at ParaMed. The incumbent will also oversee website content, support, and analysis for our ParaMed and SGP websites. As part of our broader Public Affairs team, they will contribute to our mission to provide people with the care they need, wherever they call home.

This position is based at our Markham head office, Extendicare offers a hybrid working environment.

Accountabilities:

- Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract top talent across all divisions. Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to create compelling employer branding and targeted recruitment campaigns.
- Enhance brand visibility and consistency across Extendicare, ParaMed, and SGP. Implement strategies to strengthen brand identity and audience engagement.
- Drive marketing initiatives for retirement homes to increase occupancy. Develop targeted campaigns and digital strategies.
- Support the growth of new business lines within ParaMed through strategic marketing plans, audience targeting, and promotional campaigns.
- Maintain and update website content for ParaMed and SGP. Conduct regular performance analysis to optimize user experience, SEO, and lead generation.
- Oversee and mentor the Marketing Specialist, ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives and project execution.

Skills and Qualifications
- Strong digital marketing expertise, including SEO, content management, and campaign execution
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS), WordPress, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta for Business, Hootsuite, Mailchimp, and Constant Contact
- Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Strong analytical skills to assess website performance and campaign effectiveness
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, with a strong background in digital marketing
- At least 2 years of experience in brand awareness and recruitment marketing is a strong asset
- Ability to read and edit French-language content is an asset
