Overview:
Are you passionate about ensuring excellence and compliance in every detail? As a Construction Quality Assurance Manager, you will play a pivotal in ensuring the highest quality standards are met on a heavy civil infrastrucutre project. You will leverage your deep understanding of construction processes - particularly in civil works such as foundations, concrete, utilities and duct banks - to ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements and project specifications.

What you will be doing:

- Lead and manage a team of Construction QA Specialists, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Develop, implement, and continuously refine comprehensive Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, and procedures to ensure consistent quality across all phases of construction.
- Oversee and monitor construction activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards throughout each phase of the project.
- Conduct detailed inspections and audits focusing on foundations, concrete works, utilities, duct banks, and other critical civil works.
- Identify, report, and promptly address any quality issues or discrepancies to maintain adherence to project timelines and standards.
- Ensure strict compliance with project specifications, drawings, and agreements.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve quality-related challenges and achieve project goals.
- Design and lead training programs for team members on quality control processes, best practices, and industry standards.
- Proactively share lessons learned, taking steps to prevent the recurrence of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Review and align test results with third-party testing companies, ensuring that testing is accurate, timely, and compliant.
- Support the team in maintaining organized records, documentation, and quality control reports for internal and external use

What we are looking for:

- 10+ years of experience as a Construction Quality Manager on large infrastructure projects (highways, bridges, etc.).
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, with specific expertise in foundations, concrete, civil works, utilities, and related disciplines.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and effectively communicate with diverse teams.
- In-depth understanding of industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control methods.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities to address and resolve quality-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and ensure project deadlines are met without compromising quality.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
- Experience leading and supervising a QC inspection team, particularly in materials supervision, is highly valued.
