Overview

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Assistant Manager helps to oversee the nightly operation of the Comedy Bar facility. This includes front of house staff, guest services and operational functions. We are looking for someone that is looking for a unique opportunity in this interesting niche of the hospitality world, that has a proactive mindset and would like grow with us as we expand.

Duties & Responsibilties
- Manage the nightly operation of our bar and theatre service.
- Support the Operations Manager in maintaining and facilitating all aspects of restaurant operations.
- Supervise bar and FOH staff while providing constructive feedback and empathetic leadership.
- Ensure nightly cash outs and reconciliation reports for accounting are accurate and up to date.
- Continue to monitor and update procedures in relation to the operation in general.
- Ensure that the bar operation runs with legality and conformity to established governmental and AGCO regulations.
- Work with Operations Manager in planning new initiatives.
- Oversee handling of all customer concerns and complaints that are escalated by the bar staff or box office staff.
- Oversee the execution of special requests and group events from customers.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $23.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON M4C 1M1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Hospitality: 2 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Smart Serve (required)
