Weinrich Contracting Ltd. is an Earthworks Construction Company who specializes in excavation, road construction, subdivision development, oil and gas, clearing, energy and industrial site preparation, and site clean-up. WCL is hiring heavy equipment operators for the 2024 construction season. This seasonal position requires someone with a personal commitment to working safely and adhering to the company’s health and safety policies and procedures. The applicant must be capable to work a schedule of 12 consecutive days on and 2 days off, approximately 60 hours per week.

WCL is currently looking to fill the following positions:
**Excavator**
- Cut to finish grade
- Load various types of trucks

**Dozer**
- Cut to finish grade
- GPS experience an asset

**Grader**
- Cut to finish grade
- GPS experience an asset

**Responsibilities**:

- Clean, lubricate and perform other minor maintenance work
- Complete daily equipment pre-trips and logs required for safety and service schedules
- Complete all necessary daily paperwork. May include, but not limited to, daily logs, inspection logs, deliver receipts, vehicle inspection, hours of service, etc.

**Requirements**:

- Class 5 driver's license
- 3 years’ experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator
- Knowledge of truck and equipment safety
- Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance
- Demonstrated organizational skills with strong oral and written communication abilities
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work with little supervision; must be self-directed

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
