We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, graders and excavators. They will also be responsible for ensuring the safety of themselves, their coworkers, and the surrounding area while operating the equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, excavators, skid steers and other machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment, such as greasing, fuelling, and cleaning.
- Perform safety checks on equipment before each and after use to ensure that it is in good working condition.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of themselves, coworkers, and the surrounding area.
- Use hand signals, radios, or other communication devices to coordinate with ground crew and other heavy equipment operators.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.
- Attend safety meetings and training sessions as required.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- 2+ years of experience operating heavy equipment such as dozers, and excavators
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair procedures.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in all weather conditions.

Physical Demands:

- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and climb for extended periods of time.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
